Encaustic

In mijn kast vond ik mijn Encaustic spulletjes en dacht, leuk daar ga ik weer wat mee doen.  In dit landschapje heb ik met de styling pen het figuurtje met donker paarse was gemaakt. Met de zijkant van de strijkbout de struikjes en grashalmen. Ik vond de lucht zo mooi en kom me voorstellen dat je stil wordt als je hier loopt met dit uitzicht en vol verwondering bent.

Ook heb ik op een tekening geschilderd met deze was. Ook met strijkbout en styling pen en ik stond zelf paf dat ik het voor elkaar kreeg. Als je een kijkje wilt nemen, klik dan even hier.

Live the Life

15 x 21 cm

Deze paraplu-man van Tim Holz heb ik al een tijdje liggen en eindelijk was hij aan de beurt. Ik blijf hem zo leuk vinden.

Twee kleuren blauwe Dylusions gespoten als achtergrond en met Archival jet Black de man, de vogeltjes (ook van Tim Holz) en de takjes (Inkadinkado) gestempeld. De mooie waterdruppels zijn van Designs by Ryn, en gestempeld met Archival Manganese Blue. De tekst is eveneens van Tim Holz en deze geldt voor ons allen.

Met witte en zwarte pen weer wat accenten gemaakt. De kaart gemat op zwarte cardstock.

Pergamano met mijn stempels / Pergamano with my stamps

Mijn zus, Els de Graaf (elsdegraaf.eu)
was zo gek op mijn zelf gemaakte stempels (KiCoStamps) dat ze het is gaan uitproberen op haar Pergamano werk. En met een schitterend resultaat. Dit werk zijn net kanten kleedjes. En zo komen onze verschillende hobby's bij elkaar. Ik vind het echt gaaf.

Find JOY everyday

Even zin in iets vrolijks.
Deze kaart is gemaakt op door mij eerder gemaakt stijfselpapier.
De achtergrond bewerkt met potloden en pen. Vogeltjes getekend.
Klein beekje achterin en vooraan gemaakt.  Planten en sprietjes gestempeld.
De meisjes van Suzy Toronto gestempeld op apart papier. Ingekleurd, uitgeknipt en verhoogd opgeplakt.
Dit gemat op knalgeel en appeltjes groen karton.
Zo'n heerlijk en vrolijk tafereeltje geworden. Kunnen we goed gebruiken bij het afgelopen koude weer.
Maar als de voorspellingen goed zijn hebben we het weekend eindelijk wat warmere temperaturen.
Iedereen een heel zonnig en fijn weekend gewenst.

Eerste eervolle vermelding Be Free / First honorable mention Be Free

Dit is mijn kaart die de eerste eervolle vermelding heeft gekregen bij de posterwedstrijd van ARTSpecially 2013. Het is een soort drieluik die elke keer een stukje verhaal verder vertelt.

This is my card has received the first honorable mention in the poster competition of ARTSpecially 2013. It is a triptych that tells a story every time.

 Bij het openslaan van de kaart is het luikje rechts nog dicht.

 Na het openen verschijnt de binnenkant met de tekst, vrij vertaald: de wereld van de realiteit heeft zijn grenzen, de wereld van de verbeelding is grenzeloos.
Verschillende delen zijn verhoogd opgeplakt en hoe het precies tot stand is gekomen kan ik niet beschrijven, al spelenderwijs is dit te voorschijn gekomen. De dame, poezen en bloemetjes zijn zelfgemaakte stempels en tekeningen.

ARTSpecially Event 2013

Hier hangen ze toch echt, mijn 4 sheets

Weer thuis, moe maar zeer voldaan na dit heerlijke Event in Zeist
Het was weer volop genieten. Ik mocht beide dagen de Workshops geven bij KiCoStamps en dat nog met mijn eigen stempels die deze dagen officieel ten doop werden gehouden. Wat een animo deze dagen en zoveel bekende mensen ontmoet en gesproken die je soms alleen maar van een plaatje of van de reacties op je blog kende.
Langs deze weg wil ik iedereen bedanken voor hun lieve en mooie complimenten en als eerste natuurlijk Connie, die zoveel vertrouwen in mij had om mijn stempels op de markt te brengen.
Het was echt genieten geblazen dit weekend en ik kreeg ook menig keer te horen dat ik stond te stralen. Nu zo was het ook.

Hierboven wat foto's van de stand (fotograaf Connie) en hieronder wat voorbeeld boekenleggers die tijdens de Workshop gemaakt konden worden. Velen hebben hier gebruik van gemaakt en zijn blij en tevreden weer verder gegaan.
Ook wil ik hierbij Angela en haar team bedanken voor dit heerlijke festijn. Wat een werk hebben jullie weer verzet en zeker tot volgend jaar.

Back home, tired but satisfied after this lovely Event in Zeist

It was enjoy. Both days I was allowed to give the Workshops KiCoStamps with my own stamps these days officially were held baptism . What a enthusiasm these days and so many famous people met and talked sometimes you only knew of a photo of comments on my blog.

Along this road, I would like to thank everyone for their sweet and lovely compliments and the first course Connie, who had so much faith in me to bring my stamps on the market

It was pure enjoyment this weekend and I also got to hear many times that I was blasting. Now as it was.

Bloemenvlieger / Flowers flyer

Dit is echt de laatste voorbeeldkaart van mij. Het is echt een hele serie kaarten geworden. En wat een plezier heb ik gehad met het maken van al dit moois. Ik hoop dan ook van ganser harte dat jullie er ook van genoten hebben, maar aan de vele reakties te zien is dat aardig gelukt.

Een kaart afgeplakt met maskertape en daarop vanaf een acrylblok inkt gewreven op de tussenliggende strook. Doordat de kaart bewerkt is krijg je een leuk effect. De bloemetjes (plate 51) meerdere keren gestempeld, ingekleurd en uitgeknipt. Alles opgeplakt. De kleine bloemetjes vormen de staart van de vlieger. Een lintje met een klein bloemetje het laatste stukje van de vlieger.

Met deze bloemenvlieger bedank ik een ieder die mij zo trouw gevolgd heeft met al deze voorbeeldkaarten en wens jullie allemaal toe dat jullie je eigen koers vliegen. Maar ook wil ik hierbij Conny van KiCoStamps nogmaals bedanken voor haar vertrouwen in mij gesteld.

Misschien tot ziens in Zeist??? En anders weer tot ziens in Blogland.

Hiep Hiep Hoera en Sterkte / Hip Hip Hooray and Strength

Dit keer twee tegenover gestelde kaarten. Een voor blijdschap en een voor verdriet.

De eerste gemaakt op een achtergrond met inkt bespoten aquarelpapier. De blaadjes (plate 51) met VersaMark gestempeld en met oranje embossingpoeder geëmbost. De drie cirkels met rode embossingpoeder. De middelste cirkel op apart papier met oranje embossingpoeder, uitgeknipt en op oranje papier geplakt. Met een klein randje uitgeknipt en verhoogd opgeplakt en de rondjes met Stickles Star Dust bewerkt.. De rondjes ingekleurd. Met zwarte pen het een en ander geaccentueerd. De tekst (vertikale teksten KiCoStamps) als laatste gestempeld.
